Then all I'd have to do is show greyed out for pieces that have been move/removed and highlight spaces that now have a different piece on them. That would probably sort out castling too (as both the king and rook would be highlighted). hmmm. What I might try and do instead is highlight all of the squares that the piece moved across, so you can really see what happened. I also need work for castling, as at the moment only the king is highlighted. There will definitely be some sort of Ajax in the future - just got a few more things to finish off first...
